The Lighthouse of Broward has partnered with Nova Southeastern University College of Optometry to provide comprehensive low vision exams at Lighthouse of Broward by trained Doctors of Optometry supervising fourth-year optometry students. The low vision examination includes determining a spectacle correction, appropriate magnifiers, telescopes, therapeutic filters, and/or electronic magnification systems to improve an individual's ability to perform daily tasks.
