Capital and Endowment Giving

Capital gifts are transformational and help to provide support for the long-term and strategic goals of the Lighthouse of Broward, including expansion and renovation projects, the establishment of a named endowed fund, and planned gifts to secure the services of the Lighthouse of Broward today and into its future. These gifts can be pledged up to a maximum of 5 years.

Planned Giving

A planned gift is an impactful way to leave a lasting legacy by including the Lighthouse of
Broward in your estate plans, “educating and providing essential human services for the blind and visually impaired today and well into the future. A donor may be eligible to take charitable tax deductions if the gift complies with applicable requirements established by the Internal Revenue Code and other laws and regulations that govern certain types of deferred gifts. Prospective planned gift donors are urged to seek the assistance of their personal legal and financial advisors in matters related to their gifts and the resulting tax and estate planning consequences. The Lighthouse of Broward celebrates and recognizes those individuals who have indicated they will include the Lighthouse of Broward in their charitable estate plans with complimentary membership in the 1973 Lighthouse Legacy Society.
