Lighthouse of Broward was honored by 2-1-1 Broward, BankAtlantic and the Wasie Foundation as the NonProfit of the Year for Advocacy in recognition of outreach leading to employment for blind persons.
Lighthouse of Broward has been selected by the Order of the Hibernians, Broward Division I, to benefit from their annual golf tournament May 19 at Hollywood Beach Golf and Resort. Shotgun start at 8 a.m.

Twelve St. Coleman's Girl Scouts visited on January 27, 2012. They were given a tour by Jose Lopez Masso, Assistant Director of Development / Director of Community Relations & Karen Parparian, Program Coordinator. They learned about fundraising and volunteering. A special presentation was given by Jose's guide dog "Clemens" which they loved!
